Important Info before departure
When should I install and when should I activate the eSIM?
The process is divided into two steps:
1. Installation (Scanning the code): You can install the eSIM on your device at any time after purchase. Since an active Wi-Fi connection is required, we strongly recommend doing this at home or at the airport Wi-Fi before your departure.
2. Activation (Going online): You 'activate' the eSIM by turning on 'Data Roaming' for it upon arrival. The internet and the validity period of your plan will only start when you arrive in your destination country. (Except for Global or Europe plans that include your home country).

Does 'Data Roaming' need to be turned on?
Yes. In order for the Airnetly eSIM to connect to the partner networks abroad, you must explicitly enable the 'Data Roaming' switch in your Samsung settings for the Airnetly eSIM. Don't worry, since it's a prepaid eSIM, there will be no extra costs!
Can I keep my WhatsApp number?
Yes, absolutely! You don't need to change anything in WhatsApp. The app will continue to use your regular phone number, while Airnetly provides the internet connection in the background.
Can I leave my regular SIM card in the phone?
Yes. Your Samsung supports 'Dual-SIM'. You can leave your physical SIM card in the device to receive important SMS (like banking PINs), while the Airnetly eSIM handles the mobile data.
Help, I arrived but have no internet!
Please check three things: 1. Is 'Data Roaming' turned on for the Airnetly eSIM? 2. Is the Airnetly eSIM selected as the active line for 'Mobile data' in the SIM Manager? 3. Have you restarted your smartphone? Often, a simple restart helps the device connect to the local network.
